Informed Consent Information

By registering with ABLab, you will be invited to participate in research studies at ABLab. The purpose of ABLab studies is to provide insights into people’s behavior in business and social settings. Your registration information will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party.
When you receive an invitation to participate in a study, you will receive instructions for signing up for the study. The study may take place on the UCLA campus or online (i.e., online surveys you can do at your own computer). Studies typically pay $10 to $20 per hour. You will be paid in Cash, via your BRUIN card, via PayPal, or in gift certificates or products for each study.
Payment is made in private and you will be asked to sign a payment receipt. The receipt is for accounting purposes only and will not be linked to your responses.
Your registration with the ABLab is voluntary. If at any time you wish to withdraw from this registry (i.e., remove yourself from being contacted about studies at ABLab), you may do so at the following link: http://ucla.qualtrics.com/SE?SID=SV_cXYeLHn0PFJdf4o&SVID=Prod, or contact Cindy MT, the Lab Manager, at behavioral.lab@anderson.ucla.edu. Further, each study announcement you receive will also contain the link for withdrawing from the ABLab.
